Make your opinion matter
Whether you are writing an “in my opinion” piece or communicating to your professional peers, you should disclose one simple, clean point you want to get across. Say it first, then back it up with facts. Editors are more likely to print a opinion articles that are kept brief and which state an opinion/point of view first.
At JGC we believe that writing opinion articles should be half entertaining, half informing and should not be too detailed or complicated. An appealing word out of place, or a clever turn of phrase, will work wonders to keep your reader going – and absorbing your argument.
